I'm unemployed. I have trouble getting out of bed, and I waste day after day for want of activation energy. I'd like to plan morning activities with people who are free during business hours. Comment here if you'd like to meet up for anything that does not involve sleeping, anytime between 7AM and 12PM on weekdays. I'll send out emails and schedule stuff.

Im sure there is some tai chi group somewhere early in the morning. I've been hunting down form vids and doing it in the park attached to my building. My morning schedule looks like "gym gym gym gym" currently, so can't really help much. (I've been taking a series of classes at the gym around kettlebells. this 'iron body' series is rocking my proverbial socks)

I could probably get you a week pass to Equinox if you want to harass their trainers. They'll try and sell you on a membership, but you can certainly say "I'll think about it" by which you mean no :) but in the week, take the classes, and harass the roving personal trainers. (It's kinda nice to be able to grab a floating trainer off the floor and tell them 'tell me something to do that will strengthen this muscle group' or 'show me something that will murder me' :p)

we have a tai chi group that runs at our center every monday morning 9:30-10am. it is a very gentle form of tai chi so i'm not sure that is going to be your cup of tea. i work all mornings but there are a couple of afternoons i get out of work early and would love to go out for walks or do other types of crafty sorts of projects if you are interested. drop me a line.

I wouldn't mind scheduling having coffee or tea around 8:00 a.m.

I work Friday, and my hours are pretty sporadic for now, but I'd definitely be up for meeting up in Arlington Center or something. There's a bus that goes there directly from my house.

Let me know!

The climbing gym doesn't open until noon. If you don't mind doing something a little later than your initial time slot, though, I'd be up for that.

Or, we could always go for a brisk walk or something when I'm working from home (which is a lot). I like the loop from Highland to Mass Ave, Park, rte 2, and finally back to Highland.

I'm not free in the am, but if you'd like to plan to meet me someday at noon and take a walk in the cemetery, that would be cool! That way you can tell yourself you have to be productive in the morning to go out later. I'd just need to look at the work schedule to figure out a good day.

yes!! that would be awesome! again, I'll need to take a look at the schedule and figure out a day when I'm not likely to be in demand midday. But I'll do that tomorrow and get back to you.

I'm not in boston, but have the same problem as you (waking up before noon). I would be happy to chat with you over (homemade) coffee in the A.M.

If you still have the futon I strongly suggest setting up for a Law and Order Marathon (or whatever is on HBO) while laying sprawled on the futon and obsessively refreshing Facebook.

For variety switch to the Discovery channel and assume the fetal position.

I am totally into hanging out on weekdays - granted I have the K-Man, but he's usually fine during the day and is particularly good on long walks (on the beach and he also likes kittens j/k), or brought into coffee shops as long as I can jiggle his stroller. In fact, going out for breakfast is often the only way I am able to eat breakfast.

I sleep until 9am however.

If you have any ambition to get up, head to Somerville, and walk a cute dog on a regular basis, it could make for a great workout. (Especially if you brave the cold to bike to my house) You could then take all the Sniffins photos of her you could ever want. :)

Compensation could be discussed.
