M:
The longest time I ever spent at the dentist... I went in at 6AM, and they sedated me. My friend picked me up at 4:30PM.
Me:
Good Lord! What did they do to you -- make you a new head?
M:
Everything. Fillings, surgery, what-have-you.
Me:
Put that guy's kids through college.
M:
I sure did. I woke up, my friend drove me home, I collapsed into bed, and I didn't know what day it was when I woke up.
Me:
Yeah, but you were all, like, "Look at these beautiful teeth! What year is this?"
...
M:
You know, they gave me all these pre-surgical instructions the day before, and a little pull-string baggie with vitamins, and a T-shirt, and...
Me:
Listen, I think you joined a cult.
M:
Well, I didn't feel a thing, I'll tell you what.
M:
