UP... down... UP... down... UP
Mar. 17th, 2004 01:23 pmMom's liver is fine, relatively speaking. There really aren't any tiny, hard-to-see, prognosis-ruining metastases in there. They were just kidding.
No, they weren't kidding. I mean there's something funny about her liver, but 1) It's not breast cancer metastasis, 2) it's not serious, and 3) it will not interfere with chemotherapy. No liver biopsy will be necessary.
Today I sigh in relief, and I quake slightly with pent-up outfreaking. Enough already!
I'm doing a transfection on new cells with a new reagent, so that doesn't help the stress level much. :P
I'm fine, though. Mom's liver is cool, and the Xfection is going well, though it was tricky to concentrate. My head's on straight, and my Iron Therapist will be waiting at home to keep it tight later.
Lunch is currently my most pressing concern.
How was your day?
Mar. 17th, 2004 03:40 pmI would like a hot bath, a deep tissue massage, a hand massage, and a foot massage. Yes. I would much prefer that to passaging and splitting RPASMC, followed by feeding today's transfection.
Remember in The Sixth Sense, when the Mom (I got a crush on her character) tells the kid that she won the lottery, etc., and then he counters with his own Ideal Day fantasy? I thought that was neat.
