OK, so I found kittens.

Two grey tabbies of tiny proportions are in the bushes outside my office. One of them is fierce, and the other may be ill. I'm performing a web search for kitty rescue protocols.

Caught the slower kitty, and a neighboring scientist, who had been kitten shopping in shelters, ran over to adopt it. First stop is the vet, he said.

The other little devil is too fast for me. I bet I look funny, outside others' office windows, charging through the bushes like that.
