getting pumped

Man, the last thing I should be doing is typing about it. I have SO MUCH to do around here. I took the week off, because I had days to burn before '08. I made no particular plans, for a couple of different reasons. What I've found is this: When I can motivate, I find myself doing something about all the little things around here that I've been meaning to fix, or clean, or move, or change. Not much of a vacation, really, but it feels like a worthwhile investment, and it's very fulfilling, in its way. It's a challenge, for sure. It took me all day to make my bedroom Roomba-navigable, and BOY was that worth it. My floor is so clean, I feel bad walking on it. I think I'll put food on it.

I have two closets. They are both piled head-high with stuff that needs to find a home that is neither the floor nor another pile. I want to do this -- I really do. I just can't seem to start. I'm drinking a Red Bull.

Oh, shit. You should see my dressers. You can't.
