I came home expecting a really big fat check in my mailbox. It wasn't there, but I got a notice from MetLife: My car insurance premium has been "re-rated with the 2006 automobile rates recently approved by the Commissioner of Insurance." In other words, my payments are up BY 25 FUCKING PERCENT, just because.
